Acorim, as a division of Merchantec Capital, is pleased to share our commitment to donate to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital (“NMCH”), established by the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (“NMCF”) on behalf of all CEOs who participate in the quarterly Merchantec CEO Confidence Index. Healthcare is a basic human right, however, most underprivileged children that require special treatment procedures, may be faced by a lifetime of pain or discomfort without the assistance of the NMCH. The NMCH is a dedicated paediatric facility and the team of specialists provide a range of services from Neurology to Nephrology; it also offers a Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and will soon be adding Oncology Unit. The hospital successfully completed the first child kidney transplant in 2022.

We look forward to the impact that this contribution will make to the children in our country and encourage CEO’s in South Africa to participate.
